Are you stuck in your head too??

Hello There,

Have you ever caught yourself wondering, “What are they thinking about me?” 🤔 Or replaying a conversation in your head a hundred times, convinced you said something wrong?

If you have, trust me — you’re not alone. 🤝 We all get tangled in our thoughts, overanalyzing every detail.

Our minds often exaggerate small moments, turning them into something bigger and more intense than they really are:

“Why didn’t they smile back at me? Why didn’t she respond to my conversation? 🫤 Are they mad at me? Did I say something wrong? 😬 Maybe they’re telling everyone I’m annoying…”

But here’s the truth: most of the time, people aren’t thinking about us as much as we think they are. 💭 And even if they are, it’s rarely as bad as we imagine.

✨ A Quick Real Incident:

Last month, I went to a salon and saw my neighbor there. She and I are very close, so I casually tried to talk to her. However, she didn’t respond or even smile at me. I felt embarrassed and confused. I couldn’t stop overthinking it, wondering if I’d done something wrong.

The next day, I met her again and asked how she was doing. She explained that she wasn’t feeling well because she was on her period and dealing with hormonal issues. 🌧️

It was such a relief to realize that her reaction had nothing to do with me. 🙌 It’s a perfect example of how our minds jump to conclusions, blaming ourselves and trapping us in overthinking, when often the reason is entirely unrelated. 🧠💥

🌼 A Little Extra for When Overthinking Takes Over:

It’s okay to feel unsure or overthink — it happens to all of us. But the key is to catch yourself before those thoughts take over your peace. Here’s how you can handle it in real-life situations:

🔹 In the Moment:

Imagine you’re at a gathering, and someone you know seems distant or doesn’t respond warmly. 🧍‍♀️🧍‍♂️ Your first thought might be, “Did I say something wrong?”

Instead of letting your mind spiral, pause and remind yourself: “It could be anything. Maybe they’re tired or distracted.” Not everything is about you.

🔹 After the Moment:

When you’re replaying an awkward interaction in your head for the 50th time, 🌀 stop and ask yourself:

“Is this worth all the energy I’m giving it?” ⚡

“Did anyone else even notice?” 👀

Most of the time, the answer is no. ❌

🎯 Shift Your Focus:

Replace overthinking with action. For example:

Instead of replaying a conversation, send a quick text: “Hey, it was nice seeing you today!” 💌 You’ll usually find they weren’t thinking negatively at all.

Distract yourself by focusing on something productive: go to the gym, read a book, or dive into your work. 💻

🛠️ Practical Tips for Everyday Life:

Set Boundaries for Overthinking: Give yourself a time limit, like 5 minutes, to think about something. Then consciously move on. ⏳

Be Honest: If you’re unsure about someone’s reaction, ask gently: “Hey, is everything okay?” You’ll usually get clarity instead of assumptions. 🗣️

Create Your Safe Space: Surround yourself with people who value and uplift you. 🌻

Every time you catch yourself overthinking, remember — it’s a chance to grow. 🌱

It’s okay to take small steps. What matters is that you keep moving forward, one thought at a time. 💫

Let’s take this journey together, one day at a time. You’ve got this. 💛

P.S. Sometimes, all you need is a little grace for yourself. You’re doing the best you can — and that’s more than enough. 🫶

Life is full of choices. Some are easy, some feel impossible, and some shape us into the women we’re meant to be. But the hardest decisions? Those are the ones that make us stronger. 💪 For so long, we’ve been taught to live by a script — be nice, be likable, don’t take up too much space. But at some point, we have to ask ourselves: What do I actually want? Not what’s expected. Not what’s “safe.” Not what will keep everyone happy. Just what feels right for me. That moment — when you stop...

Alright, I say this every time—“Once I buy this, I’ll be happy.” Maybe it was a new phone, that viral dress, or even a fancy water bottle because apparently, hydration is a whole aesthetic now. But then, guess what? A newer, shinier version comes out, and suddenly, what you have feels meh. And it’s not just you or me. It’s all of us. We keep telling ourselves, “Just this one last thing,” but that “last thing” never really ends. Why? Because trends don’t stop. Social media won’t stop. And even...
